We are a small family resort situated at the mouth of Rushing River on beautiful Blindfold Lake. We are located on Highway 71 approx 15 miles southeast of Kenora or about 120 miles north of the Canadian-U.S. border at the Fort Frances/International Falls, MN crossing.  Watch for a sign near Rushing River Provincial Park which directs you along a good gravel road 1.5 miles to Tyc’s Blindfold Lake Resort

 

The lakefront town of Kenora, just a 20 minute drive from our camp, has much to offer the vacationer: golf courses, a museum, MS Kenora cruise ship, seaplane rides,  shopping, restaurants, a movie theater and a variety of special events.

Blindfold Lake is in the heart of the Lake of the Woods region.  In fact, it feeds into Lake of the Woods through a small railway portage, thereby making both lakes accessible by boat.

Rushing River Provincial Park, with its captivating rapids and breathtaking natural beauty stands out as one of the most picturesque spots in this area.  From our resort, the park is a mere 30 minute walk.  The park provides sand beaches,  playgrounds and many nature trails which are popular family attractions.
