Fishing

 

Blindfold lake covers a 9 mile stretch and is protected by ridges which permits fishing on even the windiest days.  Fishing, especially in spring and fall, is regarded as excellent – producing Northern Pike, Walleye (Pickerel), Bass, Perch, and Crappie.  Access to Lake of the Woods enables you to transfer to the bigger waters for a change of pace.  Filet your fish in our fish house and keep your catch free of charge in the freezer.  If you have time, try some real “bush” fishing on one of many surrounding lakes.

Conveniences

 

For your convenience, outboard gas and oil are available at the resort.  Other items such as fishing licenses, minnows, milk, bread etc. can be purchased from Rushing River Store, which is located on Hwy 71 south, about 2 miles away.  It is open daily from 7:00am to 9:00 pm.
